      Zip line in Whistler

      Whistler Feb 3, 2015 at 3:10 AM

      Heya

My partner and i are visiting Whistler, Canada for the first time, this will also be our first overseas trip. We will be there in July. We want to spend a day on the zip lines, my question is to anyone who has zip lined before and/or does anyone know how many there are and which ones are best? Ive seen there is an Eagle tour and a Bear tour, which can also be combined....if we book the combined tour does that include every zip line there is? Thankyou.

    • Columbia Basin Wetlands

by highwalker Online Now May 25, 2014 at 6:43 PM

      Hi!

Planning a visit to Kootenay the last week of June/ first of July. I am looking for birding hotspots and found Columbia Wetlands but not much in the way of specifics. We are staying in radium which seems close. I cannot seem to find it on Google maps. Can anyone help with the wetlands location and any particularly good areas.

Also, if anyone has any tips on wildlife - big or small, mountain scenics, good southerly views of the night sky, or anything that might interest an avid, amateur nature photographer, I would be eternally grateful!

Here is my website to give you an idea of what I do, Thanks! http://www.donweissphotography.com

I will be visiting Kootenay and surrounds for the first time the last week of June. I am an avid wildlife and nature photographer and can only find general info on locales. I enjoy getting up early and also love to hike but, not as far as I used to. :o) We are staying at Radium Hot Springs.

I am looking for wildlife hotspots, wildflower meadows and good places for closeups. Any good nighttime locations for the milky way. My habits range from broad scenics to macro, birds to mammals.

If you have any info that may help me with my itinerary, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Don
