Hi we are planning to go to Koloili in Novemeber please can anyone tell us how much it costs for food, drinks etc. Thanks
do you want to go out or buy it? Like everywhere, also in Kololi you find resonable and expensive restaureants and bars. In the supermarket, prices for food and drink are almost on european lever since all the goods are imported. On the local market it is far cheaper, but don't forget to bargain! And try to remember that a Gambian grown tomatoe doesn't contain almost only water like in Europe. Fruit and vegetable are more natural, and more tasty.

Eating and drinking out in Senegambia you can take your pick of eateries some more reasonable than others but for what still classed as a third world country our spending money doesn't go far, we learn't that if you cross the highway you will find plenty of little gambian bars which are much more reasonable and although they don't offer the extensive menu's the food it cheap and tasty.
