Weather in July

I'll be visiting Kodai from 1st to 4th July, 2006. Have any idea how the weather ill be? Will it be cold so that I should take woolen cloths? Somebody told me that it'll be raining. Will it be? And where can we get some trekking maps locally? Oh! too many questions, i know. But, please help me. Thanx in advance! -Krishna
