hi, I've rented a chevrolet blazer but don't have experience with the 4wd driving. Nonetheless, I think some backroad could be easy one like cottowod canyon, hole-in-the-rock up to devil's garden or burr trail road. Can anyone tell me if I'm right? Thank you louis
I just saw this and you may well have done your trip already. The roads that run through the Grand Staircase are certainly doable in a Blazer. The problem will be road closures if there is snow, up until about April 1. I'd check with the local BLM offices to see if they are open. I've done Cottonwood and Skutempah and they will not be fun if wet. I did Hole in the Rock in September and if there is no snow you could could get to Devil's Garden witout a problem. Win
