I am planning to attend the F1 German Grand Prix at Nurburgring 22 July 2007. Can anyone tell me the easiest way to get to the race track? I will be staying in Frankfurt and do not want to rent a car and drive there. I prefer the train.
Train to Koblenz, from there by shuttle bus. DB timetable reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/qu... From: Frankfurt To: Koblenz If you're not travelling alone and stick to local trains the Happy-Weekend-Ticket is a good deal. EUR 33,00. Valid for up to 5 persons travelling together. Valid on a Saturday or Sunday from midnight till 3am next day. Select at the DB timetable as means of transport "only local transport" if you like to use the Happy-Weekend-Ticket. shuttle bus nuerburgring.de/4_freizeitto... nts-gmbh.net/main.pl?func=be...

Hi, I am traveling to Germany mainly for the F1 race on 22nd July 2007. I will be reaching Cologne on 22nd July (Sunday) early morning and I would like to know if there are any shuttle service available from Cologne to Nurburgring. I desperately want to see the race, so please advice on the travel options. I do not want to rent a car and would prefer to use local transportation. I have heard from my colleagues that the 'general admission' tickets will be available at the ticket counter near the race circuit. Is this true? Please help.
