Anyone every do the Loreley Tour by KD Line along the Rhine? Any feedback would be great!! Thanks. Starts at Rudesheim and goes to Koblenz?
I once did the tour by boat and lots of times I passed the Rhine Valley by train. The landscape is beautiful because the Rhine carved the winding Valley between wooded mountains. You'll see a lot of castles and picturesque villages. But don't be disappointed about the Loreley itself. It's only a huge rock with a flag on it. Often tourists expect something special because they heard about that romantic legend of the beautiful girl combing her hair on top of the rock.

You can go Rüdesheim to Koblenz (or the other way around) yes. However, it's also possible to go shorter stretches, such as Boppard to Bacharach which will take you through the most scenic stretches and Bacharach is a lovely town from which you can then easily get to Rüdesheim too...
