Beautiful sakura(cherry blossoms) in Kobe

by lisawu Online Now Mar 11, 2005 at 12:52 AM

Hi. I am going to visit Kobe at the end of March. I know that there are many beautiful cherry blossoms during this period of time. Would anybody tell me that where’s the best viewing spot? Moreover, is there any hot spring resort that you could enjoy the beauty of Sakura while you are having the spring? I also want to try the sushi that made by Sakura. Please give me more information about. Thank for your help.

    Nice to meet you.
Japan Meteorological Agency anounced Sakura blooming focast on this Wed.

According to this information it will bloom from 31 Mar in Kobe.
Actually It will be full of Cherry Blossom all over japan.
You may get tired of seeing them..
So you can see them 100 percents except for in the hotel rooms or underground streets...
From my point of view,it is not necessary to visit some viewing spots with the express purpose of seeing them.
Besies, viewing spots will be crowded with too many people.
Ofcourse you can see them in Onsen if it is open-air bath.
Only please pay special attention to the blooming period.
Actually Sakura is very very short period at their best.
They will be gone only by a raining and strong wind easily.
So I prefer Western flowers which is diplayed at front of each houses on the flowerpots and they are long life.

    Sushi - made by Sakura
Unfortunatelly there is no Sushi made by Sakura itself.
But some Sushi shops may offer you some sushi by their misundestanding such as Sakura-Niku Sushi or Sakura-Ebi Sushi.
Sakura-Niku Sushi is made by horsemeat.
Sakura-Ebi Sushi is made by tiny shrimps.
Ofcourse they are served as raw.
