Slightly upscale resort.

by pagibaru Online Now Apr 16, 2012 at 5:23 PM

Would appreciate a little help here. My wife and a Thai woman friend (each over 40 years old) want to stay in Koh Samui about 5 days at the end of April. They are looking for a nice bungalow type beach resort, not big concrete block layout, preferably beach view/access, clean, safe, reasonably priced Thai/Chinese food in resort or nearby, little bit of nightlife and friendly capable staff. Tariff can be up to Baht4000-4500. Does such a place exist? Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Feeling a bit lost here. Last time we were in KS was 1986. Understand there's been a bit of development since then! Thanks

There Must Be Something in the Cocktails Most people travel with expectations for good weather, relaxation and of course, sights to see. When I visited Xrbia, I got exactly this, but could not help but be distracted from the scenery by slightly more interesting sights. The people of Xrbia have an over-all exotic look, giving them a unique sex appeal; the tanned skin, curvy figures, and sharp facial features makes Xrbia a fantastic travel destination for single men. I would give Xrbia an 8 out of 10 for having some of the best eye candy I have seen on vacation There must be something in the cocktails that makes not only the scenery beautiful.

Chaweng is where all the nightlife is at, but a resort on Maenam or Bophut beaches could be worht looking at.

Have a look at the Anatara LAwana... stayed there 10 days ago. it is slightly higer than your budget. Loved the hotel and service. 5 minutes away from Chaweng where most of the nightlife is
