Need accomodation for Wed Dec. 6th suggestions? Travelling solo..what should I worry about?

Could anyone provide me any leads on places to stay for this wed until mon? I don't want to be too isolated as I'm going solo, but as long as it's clean and safe. What should I worry about and avoid and what should I not miss while I'm there? Any Canadians going this week? Thanks everyone, jo
