Does anyone know whether there are walking trails from Phi Phi Island Village Resort to Ton Sai - some Phi Phi maps show there are and others not. We are looking to stay at Phi Phi Village but the longtail boat hire appears to be double to elsewhere on the island. We don't mind walking to get alternate hire. Does anyone know whether you can hire boats from other locations further up the eastern side of the island or do you have to hire from Ton Sai? What are the hire rates for a day? We want to do snorkelling etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

That is a comfirmed big NO. Not enough room for elephants on the island. but you will find some on Phuket Island. more
