From Hat Yai to Koh Phangan

Hi People, me again... i just would like to know how many hours to get to koh phangan from hat yai ?? and how many hours if im taking boat from suratthani to koh phangan and i also need to know the cost for the journey. i need an advice because i will be going there on the weekend only... saturday and sunday... so i have very thigh schedule for that... or maybe i can get any advice where i should go in thailand which the location near by hat yai... hope i can get many answer for this... thank you all
