Hello. Me and a friend will be in kiruna for a day and will be staying at the ice hotel. It seems that tour packages offered are quite expensive. We were thinking of going to Sámi Siida - Reindeer park and Sámi camp or the Unground mine museum. How do we travel from the hotel to these places and how far is it? We also would like to ride on snowmobile too. Is there any way we can go to these places using snowmobile? Thanks.
You should check, but I'm pretty sure the Ice Hotel in not in Kiruna but some 15km away, in Jukkasjärvi...That probably means taxi rides, but there are some busses. The Reindeer Park is not that far:http://www.nutti.se/newsdet216.htm
