hi i was just wondering how killarney is for fancy dress. its mine and my friends 25th in august and we'v booked a hotel in killarney and we all plan on dressing in sexy fancy dress and would like to know weather there is any places that object to this and any places that dont mind???
I don't think anyone will mind but may feel out of place in some areas. I cannot recall any real elegant or high end places where such dress is typically found. Some others may know but my recollection is that is is a fairly casual town.

I would suggest an email to the hotel in question. Perhaps a smaller establishment might overlook this garb, and accept it as the "fun" it would be,but as Seán (Topshelf) stated, a higher end of the market hotel, may not want their other clientel offended. :-)
