Hi there, We're going to Ireland for a couple of weeks. We want to pack light, so we're wondering if there are places to do laundry in Killarney. We'll have been out on the road for about a week, so we'll need a place by then. Any ideas?
Definetly a laudromat. I remember passing one near the Sugan Hostel in the middle of town. Plus, if your going to be hostelling, most of the major hostels have some sort of laudry service. Some of the Country-Home B&Bs can also do laudry for you. I'm not a huge fan of the "Lets Go" series, but one aspect I really liked was that they list laudry facilities for every town. Comes in really handy sometimes. Nick

I'll have to try and find the one near the Sugan Hostel, as I went looking for a laundromat in Killarney in April and could only find two laundries where you drop off your items, someone does the washing for you, and you pick it up later. As the cost was high (16 euros per load, I think), we decided to forgo the opportunity.
