Hi,
I have never been to any of the swimming pools in Kiev but I have found this article for you from the Kyiv Post that is in English. This may help you.

I'd try the Hydropark, a landscape-recreational park on the Dnieper River in Kiev, Ukraine. It was created as an entertainment complex with mainly water activities: beaches, boating, water attractions. It has a spectacular pool plus superb river beaches and swimming areas. It's a great time no matter what.

That "hydropark" more looks like aquapark in Brovary (suburb of Kyiv)

As for swimming pools, check this link (try to translate it via google)

Hi Michael,
I swimm at "Syrets", the link is in Ukrainian only (akwafitnes-plavanie.narod2.r...) but you can translate it with google translate (as a whole page).
It costs 60 UAH(Hryvna) per hour and you will need a medical "card" from the doctor, which costs 100 UAH (Average to get it at any hospital or policlinic in Kiev). It seems to be obligatory in any pool.
There is one more swimming pool "Yunist" on Bastionna str. 7, which might be open air (with open roof) in May.
