No, it doesn't. But actually in Ukraine the rate you pay while withdrawing cash doesn't depend on the fact that you have a card of the same banking group. I'd suggest you to pay with the credit card in the places where it is possible (almost all hotels and restourants and all big supermarkets) and take some cash with you as well. It will definetly be cheaper.

there are bank ATM's everywhere. I had problems finding one that would accept my visa card. Most merchants will accept visa and the transaction goes good. I learned also to pre-warn your credit card institution of where you are going to be travelling. In Kiev square there are about 5 banks. I withdrue cash from only one bank. The other 4 atm's just stated then transation would not process. I saved receipts as well. All shopping centers have atm's. Just use atm that is attached to bank not one of the portable machines. Most atm's have english abilities and are decent to use. Be aware that you are not being watched when you with draw cash. I still have not found atm that will accept my debit card. When I insert it, it gives me choice for english then ejects card once it is read. ATM's are everywhere, just use commomn sense in choosing which to use.
