Paris - Keukenhof trains

by FraMauro Online Now Mar 7, 2009 at 9:27 AM

Are there direct trains from Paris to Keukenhof? Since I will have a lot of luggage, is there a place to store them?

Thanks

Keukenhof - The park in Holland?

No trains go there. There are direct trains from Paris to Amsterdam, from where you will need to take a bus to Keukenhof.

You could take the train to Schiphol and store your luggage there in a locker. Buses go from Schiphol to the Keukenhof...

Amsterdam Central station also has luggage lockers btw...

The Schiphol Airport has big lockers in the basement at hall 2 (as well as luggage depot).

At the Schiphol Plaza: VVV Holland Tourist Information Combitickets for the bus (Connexxion #58) and the Keukenhof can be bought (follow signs: "Arrivals 2 / Hotel Reservations")

    Have a great trip.

Thank you all for your quick reply. Any recommendations on a simple B&B near the Central station? Would you recommend any more additions to my itinerary below? I have only about 3.5 days in Amsterdam. I have not included any museums (will do them on my next trip).

Day 1 - Morn - Canal tours, Anne Frank House
Noon - Keukenhof (Is half a day enough?)

    Day 2 - The Hague

    Day 3 - Zaanse Schans

    Day 4 - Around Amsterdam

    Thanks again.

For Day 1 I would make sure to go to the Anne Frank house first thing in the morning, because it can get really busy with people waiting in long lines outside.

Day 3, Zaanse Schans probably only takes half a day so you could plan a bit more that day...

    Cheers
