Looking forward to spending a couple of months in Kathmandu.

We arrive in late May. All suggestions for long term guest houses with kitchen privileges for guests or NON luxurious fully furnished studio apartments are welcome. WIFI for our online work is necessary.
We look forward to meeting new friends!

Just a recommendation: Laughing Buddha Home (Lekhnath Marg,Thamel,Kathmandu,Nepal)
    TEL: +977-1-4422562
    E-mail : knockag@hotmail.com or akbargurung@gmail.com
Rate: R800 with wifi in room.
There are thousands of guest houses/hotels in KMT and you can check them out in person before moving in.

Finding reasonable quality accommodation at a good price won’t be a problem in Kathmandu in May as it is the start of the quiet season leading up to the monsoon - $200 per month in a quality tourist class hotel with Wi-Fi should easily be achievable – But no cooking facilities, but as food in simple restaurants is so cheap in any case, this shouldn’t cause you a problem
Good Luck and Happy travels in Nepal

Thank you Rob. We like to make our own morning coffee and snacks but do plan to eat out. Are you able to suggest a quality class hotel or guest house? Very much appreciated if you can.
    Thanks again.

Thank you. I will look back about Charvi Homes. Our only need is for simple furnished studio or one bedroom apt. and near to center.
    Thank you again!

you can get a traveler's inn for 300$ per month which provides breakfast and a double room in quiet and nice location.
