Is the Open Tour bus operational this year? I am travelling to Croatia next week and would like to visit Hvar and use this bus if it is running.

I will visit Croatia from 3/7-11/7, airrive and depart from Dubrovnik, I am planing the itinerary. I want to visit Mostar after Dubrovnik then Split, how long do you suggest I should stay in Split? how about 4days? some tourists will stay in the islands of Hvar and Korcula overnight, do you think I can make it a day triP? car ferry is easy?

is the traffic between Mostar and Split fine? For Mostar, how long do you suggest to stay?

I am travelling to Hvar from Split on 11 July. I land in Split at 10.30 a.m. and need to travel from the airport to the port for the onward journey to Hvar. Does anyone know a website/s with up to date ferry timetables? I believe I can get a ferry from Split to Stari Grad or one from Split to Hvar town. My accommodation is in Hvar town so it would be preferable to get the ferry to Hvar town however if they are less frequent I can travel by bus from Stari Grad. Thanks all.

Me and my boyfriend are going to Makarska in July (2013) 4th July until 10th of july.
We are staying there for 7 days and I am thinking of bringing about 1000€ (7466,9 HRK)
and I was wondering if that is enough?

I would also like to know the best way to get to Makarska from Split airport,
money rates & how long it will take? Also for the way back.

We arrive in Makarska at 22.45 will there be buses at that time?
Also when we are going home, are plane leaves around 14.00,
what time should we leave Makarska to get to Split airport?

Any other added info and tips on Makarska that you could give is highly appreciated :)

We are coming from Sarajevo on the morning train and will then get the bus to Split and catch the 21:18 sleeper to Zagreb.
I guess the train usually gets in about noon (it's scheduled for 10:57).
We'd like to get a bus along the coastal road. There will be 10 of us.
What are the chances of getting a booking for the bus. I think it starts at the border at Metkovic but we're on a train trip so would like to do as much rail as possible, and Ploce looks like a great place to hang around in waiting for a bus.
Either way, bazillions of people must do exactly this, or at least go Sarajevo-Ploce-Split in a day. I cant find anyone on the ground to give me assurances and the bus timetable that I was looking at has a whopping great hole in it in the middle of the day.
Can someone assure me that there are loads and loads of buses leaving in the early afternoon and you wont have any trouble getting on, or tell me how to avoid any problems.
