Hi, I shall hopefully shortly be arriving from Newcastle Upon Tyne (UK) to live near Karlsruhe for 6months. I'll be working as an au-pair. It'd be great if anyone could let me know of any open-mic nights for singers/guitarists in Karlsruhe or generally anywhere where I'll be able to find people who are into guitar-based music. Oh, if anyone knows about whether I'll need a licence to go busking or what the attitude of the local police is to buskers that'd be appreciated. I don't speak a word of German so any tips on language schools would be welcome too. Think thats it for now. :)
