Here's a tip about the bicycle shops I know of in Karlsruhe: "All-day or all-week bicycle rentals" - Karlsruhe Transportation Tip by Nemorino I don't know if they are especially cheap or not, but the first one strikes me as being very professional. They were giving people good advice when I was there. I hope this is of some help.
