Hello This may be a silly question, however, I've just found a really cheap flight from Ireland to Karlsruhe and would like to know how far would I have to travel to go ski-ing - well more specifically snowboarding. I have a 13yr old son who would love to do this, and given the airfare (£28 return) if there was anywhere relatively close I would consider taking him in April. thanks for any advice, Jacqui
April is mostlikely too late for the skiing in the Black Forest. Thus you'll have to head to the Alps. Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden Airport (aka Baden Airpark) to Interlaken needs mostly 4:21. Interlaken itself is not really a ski resort, rather a railway know and "base camp" for this region.
