What is the best/quickest way to travel between Karlovy Vary and Munich? How long does the trip take? What is the cheapest way to go: by train or by bus? Does anybody know the bus schedule and the tickets price? Thank you very much in advance
Hy, The quickest but not cheaper is by train via Cheb and Weiden, 5.10 hours and 57€ O/W. Via Praha by train is cheaper (45€ O/W) but it takes a long time with a long stop-over in Praha. Cheapest way is by bus, 36.50€ O/W. There are two buses daily, one starts from Karlovy Vary at 05.00, change in Praha and it arrives in Munich at 13:10. The other is a night bus, it starts from KV at 20.00, same change above and it arrives in Munich at 05.30. German railways: bahn.com/i/view/GBR/en/index...
