Are their taxis to get from the cruise dock to airport and how far and how much? Is there anything to see in Kangerlussuaq?
cruise dock? The things you can do in town is ..well two things take a tour to the inland icecap or to see the muskus oxes.

"Kangerlussuaq has the absolutely ugliest buildings that I have ever seen (unpainted metal)." I have seen some in the indian slum ;-) ...but yes Kangerlussuaq is just a hup for changing to the cost flights. It was placed here of the americans as the wind conditions are better then neer the cost.

I am going to Ilulissat from Copenhagen in March 2013. I have a 4 hour transit time in Kangerlussuaq. Will I have enough time for a musk ox safari or ice cap tour?

Hi Robin Yes you should be able to make a little tour in 4 hours, But I would make a booking in advance, to make sure that the tour firm will drive you inside your timeframe. ;-) Allan
