My family are going to drive from Melbourne to Kangaroo Island in time to catch the 6 or 7 pm ferry to the island at Cape Jervis. What exit do we take from the freeway to get the easiest route to Cape Jervis???
Hi! When you get to Adelaide take the A13 --> M2 (going to Morphett Vale), Then take B23 (going to Cape Jervis. You can also take the exit at Tailem Bond on the A8/M1 to Adelaide. From there you can reach the B45 to Strathalbyn. Then take the B37 to Goolwa and then the B37 to Cape Jervis. Have fun on Kangaroo island, it's great there!

Thanks for the reply. Looking at Melways, I can't guess whether it's faster to take the Freeway all the way to Adelaide or get off at Tailem Bend and use the B roads...

I can't help you out either. The road from Adelaide is pretty nice, but the B-roads are beautiful.
