I am allergic to mosquito bites, are they a problem at Nexus please.
Mosquitoes are common in Sabah so Karambunai is no exception though they tend to be active during dawn and dusk. However, the resort is well tended so I guess the number of mosquitoes will be minimal. You could feasibly get sand flies as well at the beach though this is less common. Bring repellant with you-they are not the easiest thing to find in Sabah though the 2nd floor of Tong Hing Supermarket (in the city) will stock them.
