Hi I am going to Kaipeng on Saturday. I can't seem to work out the best place to stay. We want to go around and look at towers, starting with Zili Village. Is the best thing to do to get a taxi to take us from Sanbu(Kaiping?) Any reasonable not expensive hotels in the area? Thanks, Jennim
Hi, you should be back by now. How was your trip? Did you visit Zili village, Li Yuan, Luishi lou? The watchtowers have been listed as world heritage site and the architecture is wonderful. Ken

Hi JenniM I too plan to visit Kaiping and from there make a day trip to Zili. Could you share with me how I could go to Kaiping from either HK or Macau ? And then from Kaiping, how do I go to Zili Village ?
