I will be based in Kabul from mid Nov 07 till May 08. This is going to be the second time in Kabul but first time to experience winter season. I wonder if I can find any thermal jacket in the city (probably around shar-e-now or DACAAR shop) or any woman's muslim clothes for winter. Any information will be great!
Salut mon ami, Winters in Kabul, damn cold, last Feabruary, I was in Kabul for almost a week, and it's snowy for a couple of days. You can find some stuff, which's actually brought in Afghanistan for ISAAF forces but by some unknown means it's on display in some markets in Kabul, shoes, jackets and winter stuff and it's cheap. You can find some stuff here in Peshawar, good gear's available in the smugglers bazar, I'd seen that last week there.
