How many hours from San Salvador to the River of Juayua. Are there any tours from San Salvador to Juayua? The reason I'm asking is because it was reported in Telemundo that the river has healing waters and it only happens every seven years. Please if anybody has any information about lodging and hotel prices/any or all accomadations will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Lorenza
From San Salvador to Juayua/Apaneca is about an hour and a half. It is very easy to take ruta de las flores (see the map of El Salvador). As far as places to stay, I recommend Santa Leticia, in Apaneca...it's very close to Juayua. Thera are other hotels in the area as well. Hotel Alicante in Apaneca is one of them. I think I've seen a couple of small hotels or hostels in the town of Juayua. Good luck.

Lorenza, I would recommend renting a car but you could take public transportation to Juayua/Apaneca. Take care
