I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the 'Explorers Club' at 9 Innes St. Observatory still exists. I stayed there about 10 yrs ago now. It was a lovely old style colonial type house with lots of character. Also a small swimming pool. The owner was a fantastic guy - Peter kirchoff(i think). I loved the place. A sort of back packers place that catered for the not so young at heart like myself. I also remember Bushy from Namibia who worked there as well. I know they were broken into and attacked about 6 or 7 yrs ago now. they may have closed down because of that, i dont know. If someone does have some info on the [place I would appreciate it.
