Planned a trip to Chengdu/Jiuzhaigou first week of November. Had to book a tour as backpacking in China can be a pain. Everybody has been telling me to pack winter clothes but I'm not too sure if it will be that cold. How cold does it get in early November anyway? Does it snow even? Would warm clothese be enough? (sweaters/jackets) Cheers!
Yes, it is very cold there at November. If you not bring winter clothes, you would be regret. Several years ago I have been there. It snowed heavly. After snow, I went to Huanglong. It was very attractive after snow.
