I am planning a trip to Jeju in March, most likely getting a taxi to bring us around (heard that it is KRW 180,000 for 9 hours per day). We are a group of 5 and was wondering if there are any activities/places of interest that would not be available during March (water sports, jet boat ride, submarine, light hiking on Mt Halla, etc). Appreciate if anyone can advise me on that.
Also, would a 3D2N trip be enough or should i think of making it a 4D3N trip?
Here are the places that I would like to cover. Please feel free to suggest any other places of interests/activities that you feel that I should visit! how is Jeju Folk Village Museum and Yongduam? should I include them?
- Teddy Bear Museum
- Manjanggul Cave
- Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak
- Gimnyeong Maze Park
- Submarine ride
- jet boat ride
- Women diver show
- Seonimgyo Bridge
- Alive museum
Thanks in advance!

I know at the base of Seongsan Ilchulbong we can dig clams.. but is there jackknife clams?
I will be staying 2 nights near Seongsan Ilchulbong and 3 nights in Seogwipo town. Is there any good deep sea fishing we can do that is close to either of them? Those where they bring us out on a boat and everyone get to fish. When we catch any fish, they will cut it up immediately for us to eat as sushimi. Prices should be 20000Won for 2 hours.
I heard that CHWAGUIDO Island(West) has? But it is kinda far..

hi, my name is Dyana, I've plan to visit Jeju and Seoul next July.
Please help me to answer this:
1. I'll arrive at Incheon airport on 8.30AM, and then I'll go to Gimpo airport for my flight to Jeju. There are 2 flights Jeju air on 12.20PM and Eastar Jet on 1.35PM. What do u think guys? If I buy Jeju air ticket, do u think I can catch it? I'm afraid that the immigration process will take a long time. Please advise. :)
2. I've several places to go at Jeju, such as: Seongsan Ilchulbong, Seopjikoji, Cheonjeyeon Waterfall, Hyeopjae beach. What's the best route to go there? FYI, I'll stay at Jeju-si, near the airport. and I only have 2 days 1 night there (around 3PM-11AM the next morning). Can u suggest me the best route to all those places?
Thank you so much, I'm looking forward for your reply soon. :)
Hi, would I be able to rent a car in Jeju city instead of from the airport?
We are arriving late night and thought of only renting the next morning in the city but could not seem to find any information about car rental in the city!
2 of us are visiting Jeju in Oct, as we cannot drive, would it be better to chartered a taxi or use public transportation ?
Is it common to share a taxi with other tourists in Jeju ? If so, any idea how to go about it ?
I wanted to know how many days is enough for Jeju Island. I am interested in seeing all the waterfalls, Udo island, and most of the scenic spots in Jeju.
Also I am interested in Paragliding, ParaSailing, Yatch tour and horse riding.
Can anyone tell me how many days I should plan.
We are looking to rent a car and wanna know how hard it is to drive around the island and go see things away from the hotel we are staying at.
I will visit JeJu Island on April 26, 2013 from about 2:30PM until 9:30PM with a cruise ship. Rather than use a ship's tour I am interested in seeing a few sights like
Jusangjeolli rock columns, the Manjanggul Lava Tube, etc., - mostly nature type sights. So, I'd like to see these things among others but want to end in downtown JeJu, or closer to the port, around 6 or 7PM where we will eat at a yet-to-be-determined Korean restaurant and drink a little soju. My wife and I love the Korean meals, often eating lunch at Korean restaurants in Atlanta when visiting family there (there is a large Asian population in North-East Atlanta). It would also be great if we could visit an open-air street market. I realize that the time is short but does anyone have any suggestions of how to accomplish this?
looking to go to Jeju in early July and been trying to figure out a good place to stay at a not so expensive rate. I would love to check out this Island while I am in Japan , but having a hard time finding out where to go for a hotel and having some stuff to do. I really wanna see Seongsan Ilchubong while we are traveling.
I am from Singapore. My gf and I will be going to Jeju from 01 Apr(Sun) to 04 Apr (Wed). Could someone kindly advise:
1. Is it better to rent a car via email/ phone or approach the rental companies directly in Jeju?
2. Is it cheaper to rent a car from the airport or city area?
3. Any recommended car rental companies/ English websites to check out?
Anyone know when Typhoon Season starts and ends ? Looking to go check out the Jeju Island from July 4th to the 9th and wanna check out as much as possible. Also wanna know where might be a good place to stay near that big old volcano thats coming off the coast.

After reading my planned itinerary, please help me answer my queries:
1) Firstly, do you think this itinerary is workable? We don't mind to be tired a bit.. As long as we able to go to more interesting places..
2) Since we are on a budget trip, we are planning to save the money by taking buses from one destination to the next destination.. So, is the bus transport services in Jeju-do are good? Would the bus driver know how to speak English?
3) Do you know how long it takes for the tour for Glass Castle? This is because I really want to go to Miniature Park but my partner insists want to go to Glass Castle.. What do you think about this 2 attractions? Which one is a more interesting attraction? Between, generally, how long is the tour for the Miniature Park?
4) Is it easy to find a Jiljimbang nearby Seongsan Iilchunbong Peak if we only find and book it upon arrival the area at about 10pm, 31/3/2012? Between, how long the bus travel time will takes if i want to go to Seongsan area from Jungmun Resort?
5) I had listed quite a number of attractions, is there any attraction you think it's not very interesting? And, do you have must-go attractions in mind which i did not mention?
Sorry that I have many queries.. I will really appreciate your assistance..
Looking forward to a favourable reply^^
