Hi my friends and I will be travelling to Seoul and Jeju do from the 19th-25th of August. We would like to visit lava caves, teddy bear museum, mysterious roads, jusangjeolli, cheonjiyeon waterfall, folk&natural history museum,Chocolate Museum, submarine trip, Halla-san,Manjanggul lava tube, Glass Castle.We would like to know whether Just wanna know whether we shall join the local tours when we reach Jeju Island or rent a car to drive around the island? Basically we only have 20th-22nd for Jeju Island, the other days we'll be spending them in Seoul.
If you have no issues about driving in S. Korea then I would rent a car on Jeju. I was there two years ago and drove all around the island without any problems. You will need an international driver's license to rent.
