We will be going on the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route April 23rd from Toyama to Shinano Omachi. Please advise where we can purchase advance ticket for the all through ticket. I know that I will still need to queue at each of the stations but by buying the advance ticket we will save time on the actual day since we want to go early. Can we buy the through ticket the day before at Toyama? Or I read somewhere that JTB sells them as well? Do we need to specify the timing that we want to board the first train from Toyama?

According to JP site, the route is closed for the off-season now, and the ticket for 2013 Spring season will become available for booking on March 18 at noon (JP time).
