We did a Camel Safari- it cost R400 per night, including transport to Thar desert by jeep and food.They have safaris to suit all costs. We used Sahara Travels, Gopa Chowk, next to the fort gate.

it costed us 800 INR per night including accomodation in a round hut,camel safari,folk dance,dinner and many other things. was a worthy deal i bet. we booked it through a person in jaipur[ as we booked a tour of a week time through him] i have lost his phone numbers but still got his email address that is waseem786@gmx.com. hope this will be helpfull. cheers. raj.
