distance and bus / road travel time from Izmir to istanbul

can anyone answer? how far is izmir from istanbul and r direct buses available? how much time it will take?

    There are about 40 or more departures from Izmir to Istanbul between different companies. They operate 24/7. The trip will take about 6-8 hours depending the route you choose. Some buses connect to the ferries in different points thus making the trip shorter. Price will be around 40-70 TRY. For your information air fare is almost the same for an one hour flight.
