My wife and I will be attending the graduation at the State University in Ithaca, NY. Would anyone know if they have a fairly economical hotel within the campus? We would need accommodation for the dates of:
May 17 and May 18, 2013.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What is the newest Hotel near Cornell University or near Ithaca.

We're planning to stay ~2 days in Ithaca and then continue to Niagara Falls for another day and maybe go around Lake Ontario (another 2-3 days). (1) What's a "must do/see" in Ithaca / Finger Lakes area? (2) What's a "must do/see" around Lake Ontario / 1000 Islands? (3) If you could either stay on for ~3 more days in Ithaca / Finger Lakes area or go around Lake Ontario, which would you do?

Hi, I wanted to know if there is a convenient/fast way to get from Ithaca to Montreal (we are traveling with a 1.5 years old baby). The best offer I got is go to Albany (6 Hrs) and from there to Montreal (another 6 Hrs). -- Thank you

Hi, I'm considering taking a job in the Corning, NY area. I'd like to get a variety of opinions about the region from the people who live there. I lived in Horseheads until I was about 10 but that was long ago. What can you tell me about the best towns to live in? Where would you choose to live if you worked at Corning? Is Ithaca a bad drive from Corning? Just how bad are those winters? And, anything else you think I should know while I'm making my decision? Thanks a million.

I ll be going to Cornell in late June To July. Where is a place I can relax, have great food and meet people at night as in the am i ll be attending classes.

i was searching for airplane tickets to ithaca for spring break and I came across this site: http://www.flytoithaca.com Seems like the site is powered by kayak which searches all the travel websites like expedia, cheaptickets, etc...pretty cool since I hate going from site to site looking for the cheapest price...anyone have any experience working with them? any other recommendations for cheap tickets to ithaca?

Hi, Heard abt the wineries in the area... Guess we hv to drive in order to reach there? No other alternatives like bus or cycle? Any contacts of the wineries which I can call to get their start/end times?

How Can I get from NYC to Ithaca on public transportation? I don't think Amtrak goes there.

Any suggestions on particularly impressive vineyards? I've been to a few, but that was almost a decade ago. I'm not informed about the best places now. Emphasis would be on having fun and a relaxed atmostphere...thanks in advance!
