Any good recommendation for car rental in Matera?

I will be travelling by train/ bus from Sorrento to Matera, stay a night and next day proceed to Alberobello/ Castellana Grotte before taking a midnight bus to Rome.

By travelling to the 2 places requires to go to Bari first. So thinking may rent a car instead. How much will it cost for renting small car?

Is it easy to drive to these 2 places from Matera?

The best Italian car rental experiences that I have had have been through In Italy (initaly.com/transportation_g.... The prices have been the best and all aspects of the rental have been hassle-free. However, for your trip, the closest city with rental outlets is Naples.
