My ATM card PIN is 6 digit, had read somewhere that ITaly ATM only accept 4 digit PIN. Is it true?
I have 5 numbers pin and it works in Italy

you have to digit the right number your card requires and you'll have no problems.
I got debit card with 5 digits, Amex with 4 and an other card with 6. AFAIK there's not a limit, the whole digits would be processed
this anywhere in the world
if it happens with AMEX I digit 4 number right and then a fifth number, the POS says it's a wrong pin.
