Need to know somewhere good to stay near the beach

Hi, had found a really nice apartment but it's full for when we want to go (September). Now need to find another one quick. I've read all the advice on the site, just wondering if anyone has a personal recommendation really. Want somewhere close to the beach - preferably near Pula although not for sure. Would also really like a balcony with a sea view, and it needs to be self catered. Alternatively if I'm dreaming any other recommendations would be good as well! Thanks
