Sufi dancer's clothes

I saw some Sufi dancing in Istanbul when I was there a few years ago. I just want to know the names of the white robe and the drum used for the dance Surjit

    The robe is a Khirqa/Khirqah http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khirqa No idea what the drum is.

    Khirqa is the black coat which is taken off before dancing I believe not the white frock.

    Yes, sorry, that's the black one. The white one, i'm not sure. Something like a Kurta?

    That s called "tennure" it s 6 pieces and means at kefen of Dervish (Islam religion, when u die they cover u with white cotton = kefen) anadolujet.com/aj-tr/anadolu... And my comment for whirling dervishes; Should not be used for show business or touristic purposes. First better to read what Mevlana tried to teach to humanity. all the best

    Drum is also called Kudum (2 dots also should be added on second "u" ) all the best
