European events in Istanbul - September / early October 2012

In 2012 Istanbul is European capital of sport and I'd like to know if anyone knows of any events related to this that could be interesting for a group of young (18-25) visitors from France. Ideally something taking place in September or early October. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
