We are thinking of renting a villa near Istan for a week. From there we will travel to various places and golf....what are the roads to Istan like to drive? On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being ' treacherous', how would you rate them?
the road to Istan is in excellent condition, but very very curvy. So expect to drive slowly. Distance down to the coast is about 10 kilometres if I remember correctly. The last 8 kilometre is a single road, but it divides towards the coast with the option of Marbella centre or Nueva Andalucia where most of the golf courses are. You might want to consider renting in Nueva Andalucia as it's in the middle of "golf-land".
