Most intersting I have seen is Suez canal and watching the passing ships in Suez Canal, a memorial of 1973 war between Egypt & Isreal and also Israeli camp left over from time of war with its weopns and equipment and finally enjoying good Sea food lunch in a local resturant.

The best thing is the SUEZ canal - just sit and watch the wonder of it!

initially I thought I would be alone to suggest the Suez Crossing but the above two responses are assuring that I am not the weird type, or atleast not alone, as my friends in Cairo thought when we made a day trip to Ismailia from Cairo just to see the ships crossing. actually there not to many places to go in ismailia as a city but suez canal and some beaches but if u wanna to go to beaches then u can go a little bit south to Ras Sedr or Al-ain El-sokhna in Suez
