Hi there, can anyone tell me where my family and I can shop for normal groceries in a large supermarket where locals go for their weekly groceries-a Tesco/Asda type shop please so we can fill up the fridge when we get there. We will be staying in Torviscas Alto in Adeje from 2nd July and will have a hire car when we get there) Many thanks! Chris Hurley.

As said you have the mercadona , but you still have on the road just out of Adeje the Hyper Trebol and the Hyper Dino. Since short you have on the same road the Lidell (very cheap !! we are buying our rose wine in this shop and paid only 96 eurocent for a bottle) We are back in Belgium since june 4th after a 3 month stay and tickets are allready ordered for departure on september 17th untill end october. Have a pleasant stay Albert
