Depends. Like everywhere else in this world there are pros and cons. Pro: beautiful island, relaxed lifestyle, moderate cost of living Con: Limited medical care, Very small island like living in a small town, still need to be aware of your surroundings basically like everywhere else in the world I would suggest renting in Roatan for a year or two before purchasing anything to make sure this is the lifestyle you would enjoy.
