My sister and I are going on a 7 day cruise in October and one of the places that we will be going to is Isla Roatan. We are very excited about it, one of the things that we hope to do is go scuba or snorkling. We have never done that before, I am a little nervous about seeing sharks appearing, are there sharks there and am I worried for nothing. Any other tips on cruises would help me ease my fears. Thanks
Fall - You will be able to snorkel right off the beach at Roatan. No scuba diving without a certificate but you can always come back for a longer stay for your certification. Roatan is one of the cheapest places in the Caribbean to get scuba certified. No worries about sharks. If you would lile you can check out a range of Cruise ship activities on Roatan at http://www.roatanforums.com/forums/ Have fun! Charlie Meador, Coco Pando, La Ceiba, Honduras
