Hi Hubby and I are flying out to Margarita on Sunday (our second Caribbean trip so know to expect a slightly lower standard than Europe perhaps!) However, we have heard such mixed reviews on the Dunes hotel that we are now totally unsure if it will be absolutely apalling or stunning! Has anyone been there recently - woul dlove to hear from you Many thanks LJ1
Hi, we stayed in Dune Hotel around one year ago, it was so nice. Have nice pools and good restaurants. We took all inclusive plan and went four days. If youre lookin for rest , its perfect, if you wanna go to shopping centers and restaurants, will need rent a car or rent any taxi for go to Porlamar Area. It's a very nice Hotel the downside is that it's far from Porlamar, about 45 minutes-1 hour, there are good roads to get to the hotel, but as Polskigirl said I also suggest you to rent a car to move around otherwise it's very hard to get from the hotel to other beaches or for shopping. Have a nice trip.
