I was told that around Juangriego there are these great paradisiac beaches, out of the tourist routs which are nice and clean. Any one heard of it? Any suggestions?
Guacuco and Manzanillo are beautiful and quiet beaches, where you will also find good restaurants near the beach. El Yaque, a paradise for winsurfers, is real nice too, tough very windy. If you have a taste for a little adventure, you can go to Macanao, the left and more virgin part of the island, and go to real untouched places like Playa Caribe. If you don't like crowds, please keep out of Playa El Agua and Parguito. Hope you enjoy your trip! Jessica

The most nice beaches on Isla you will find in Playa el Agua. Juan Griego is a famous place where the sun goes under, it's very beautiful(muy benito). The beache i like most is El Yaque, because it is wide and perfect for surfing and you can walk into the sea for over a 300 meters(and 29°C). We have also nice beaches in Juan Griego and Manzanillo, but there is the sea a little bit colder(22°C) and not so blue. Ther are much more beautiful beaches here, come and see it for your self.
