The easiest way to find out is to use the fareplanner: busfare.co.uk/cgi-bin/eirean... linked from the Irish bus website www.buseireann.ie You can find the fare for each segment and set that total against the cost of the Irish Rover (a 3-week pass costs a hefty 169 euro; I suspect your point-to-point fares will total less than that)

Perhaps you could purchase individual tickets for the Dublin/Belfast/Derry/Sligo sections of your trip and then use an Open Road Pass, (which is not valid for cross-border travel), e.g. 5 days travel out of ten for €89 for the journeys that only take place in the Republic, i.e. from Sligo back to Dublin?

You are quite right; I was looking (in error) at the cost of the Open Road pass, which covers e.g 10 days travel out of 20: https://194.106.151.95/asp/ExplorerList.asp

Just to inform you all that I took the Aircoach from Dublin to Belfast, for E 10.00 online (yes), and it was a perfect journey ( 2 h)!!
